Historic moment as India wins the 500th Test series



Historic moment is created in the Indian cricket history as India marks the 500th win in the test series, this time against New Zealand. Latest news is that Indian players have dominated throughout the Kanpur test series. In the first innings, India made a total of 318 runs; on the other hand New Zealand made a score of 262 runs only. 
In the second innings, India made a massive score of 377 with loss of 5 wickets and declared the innings. India set a mammoth target of 434 for New Zealand to win the series and New Zealand made a score of 318. 
The series witnessed a few milestones as well, with some big news headlines like Rohit Sharma completing his 1,000 runs in Test cricket and Ashwin bagging his 200th wicket in the format. Ashwin became the second quickest to reach 200 Test wickets as he took 37 games to achieve the feat, one behind Australia’s Clarrie Grimmet.

PSLV-C35 successfully launched



Indian Space Research Organization on Monday successfully launched Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C35) carrying eight satellites took off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. This is ISRO's longest ever launch mission with duration of 2 hour and 15 minutes.
This is 37th flight for the PSLV and the 15th time. This broke the news headlines as PSLV for the first time launched eight satellites into two different orbits
PSLV-C35 will help in India's weather monitoring satellite and SCATSAT-1 is placed in the polar sun synchronous orbit.According to news update, the mission of SCATSAT-1 is to help provide weather forecasting services to the user communities through the generation of wind vector products for weather forecasting, cyclone detection and tracking, ISRO said.
